Greetings Wednesday Evening Meal Volunteers:
Once again, you have stepped up to the call to assist in the service of our family, friends and visitors of Gateway. Your servant hearts are indeed a blessing.
The schedule of workers is presented for your reference. I’ve put an (*) next to the name of the person who will be at the church early to assist Cindy in cooking. If this is followed as closely as possible, each volunteer will only be needed once every approximately 8-10 weeks and thus you will miss Bible class just once in this period of time. Cindy is so appreciate of your willingness to serve and help clean up when you are scheduled. If we all do this nobody will get “burned out.”
If you are unable to make it on your scheduled date, please call ahead of time so Cindy can adjust accordingly. I’m sure there will be adjustments and we will adjust as circumstances dictate.
Once again, thank you for your willingness to serve. If you know somebody else that is not really involved, this is an excellent opportunity. Did I mention you DO NOT pay for your meals the nights you work.
