Camp Ruta, Lithuania
    • Camp Ruta is a church summer camp held annually near Aletus, Lithuania, and is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun atmosphere for children ages 8-18 in order to teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ.
    • For many of these children, this is their first time to learn about Christ, His story, His message, and God's word. Without Camp Ruta, they may never have that opportunity.
    • Camp Ruta was founded in 1998 by Danny Dodd and Charles "Bud" Myer, Jr. Since then, the camp has changed the lives of hundreds of children and has brought many closer to God and a closer relationship with Christ Jesus. Many of the kids return year after year to experience Camp Ruta. Many also return to camp to become counselors and teachers, and to their churches to become spiritual leaders and make a difference for Christ in their own communities.

Gateway has been involved in the work of Camp Ruta since 2005 by sending capable, energetic young singles & college students to help with the camp. It has been a life-changing powerfully spiritual learning experience for many of our college and young professionals.
