Jeremy Kughn - Lead Minister

Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from Faulkner University with a degree in Bible and an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministry. He received his Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) from Lipscomb University. Jeremy has served in ministry for 24 years in North Carolina, Alabama and Florida serving in the roles of Youth Ministry, Campus Ministry and Preaching Ministry. He is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God, his family and the Gateway Church. He loves sports, camping and outdoor activities. As a communicator, Jeremy loves to use humor and honesty to make the Bible practical for everyone. He is happily married to Jennifer and they have three children, Connor, Abbey Grace and Tyler.
Together Jeremy and Jennifer have enjoyed speaking at Marriage Retreats and Seminars and love sharing about the wonderful blessings of a Jesus-centered marriage.

Seth Madaris - Minister of Spiritual Formation
With a background in Criminal Justice and a few years as a Student Minister, Seth Madaris is in his 4th year as our Spiritual Formations Minister. He oversees all adult education, life groups, training events, and anywhere else there is a need. He is passionate about teaching, helping teaching people to teach and lead, and making the love of Christ a reality in the ordinary, every day aspects of life. Seth loves to read, loves to have conversations in which he is way too passionate and loves to be around his family. He has a minor obsession with Star Wars. He is married to his beautiful wife Jessica and they have three amazing children, Jack, Kylee and Zechariah.

Elizabeth Tomlinson - Children's Minister

Elizabeth grew up at Gateway and left us to attend Harding University, where she majored in Bible and Family Ministry. Upon her graduation in 2019, she took a job with Walt Disney World before being offered the position of Children's Minister at Gateway. We are excited that she is bringing her enthusiasm and sweet spirit back home!

Ryan Myers - Praise and Worship Minister

Ryan and his wife Ashley have been attending Gateway for 10 years and have incredible hearts for worship. Both graduates of Faulkner University, Ryan then pursued his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. Ryan now works full time as a Physical Therapist for Kindred Health Care and works as our Worship Minister to plan incredible worship experiences for the Gateway Church. Ryan and Ashley have two beautiful children, Banks and Loralei.

Jessica Posey has two degrees (a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Professional Accountancy). We are excited about Jessica and what she brings to the staff with her expertise as a CPA and her experience in church finances and taxes.

Randy McGilberry - Building and Grounds Minister
Randy has been a member of Gateway along with his family for approximately 6 years and he has jumped right in. He retired from Exxon Mobil and currently works as the Building and Grounds Minister at the Gateway Church. Oh... and he also used to be a starting pitcher for the Kansas City Royals.
