Greater love has no-one than this. That a man will lay down his life for his friends. Such a romantic phrase we have pondered on forever. However, could we have missed the connection for what Jesus is talking about? The thought doesn't end there for Jesus. In fact, he continues to discuss what fruit bearing means to the kingdom.
