What also exists around the table of thankfulness? You guessed it... Chaos. Usually someone in the group is reminiscing about the times when they used to host 30 or 40 and feed them. Those feats should never be overlooked. But sometimes what arises in that Chaos is the opposite of what Thanksgiving should bring.

Gateway has always desired to be a small group type church that promotes friendship and unity amongst its growing membership. Without that, it is almost impossible to fit in. But there is much more. Perhaps the way we "think" we are actually growing is actually part of what keeps us stagnated into a false reality of growth, when it really isn't growth at all.
